Lady Gaga attacks Trump over 'grab' remarks as he says he 'knows stories' about her

The pop icon hit the campaign trail for Joe Biden ahead of US election day.

Lady Gaga has attacked Donald Trump's "p***y-grabbing" remarks while on the campaign trail for Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden.

The 'Rain On Me' singer was speaking at a rally in Philadelphia yesterday, ahead of the US election today (Tuesday 3 November 2020).

The pop star was referencing Trump's claims in 2005 that "when you’re a star, they [women] let you do it … Grab ’em by the pussy. You can do anything."

"A man who believes his fame gives him the right to grab one of your daughters"

Addressing voters, Gaga said: “Vote like your life depends on it, or vote like your children’s lives depends on it, because they do.

“Everybody, no matter how you identify, now is your chance to vote against Donald Trump, a man who believes his fame gives him the right to grab one of your daughters, or sisters, or mothers or wives by any part of their bodies…"

Gaga, who also performed 'Shallow' and 'You and I' at the rally, added: "Vote for Joe. He’s a good person.”

Trump, speaking at his own rally in the same state, said Gaga "is not too good … I could tell you stories about Lady Gaga. I know a lot of stories." (As per The Guardian).

"I believe LGBTQ+ rights are human rights"

Stars including Cher and Glee's Kevin McHale have thrown their support behind Biden, who today tweeted: "I believe LGBTQ+ rights are human rights — and they are on the ballot [today]."

He furthermore told Philadelphia Gay News last week: “I will make enactment of the Equality Act a top legislative priority during my first 100 days – a priority that Donald Trump opposes.

“This is essential to ensuring that no future president can ever again roll back civil rights and protections for LGBT+ individuals, including when it comes to housing.”

The Equality Act is a bill in the United States Congress, that, if passed, would amend the Civil Rights Act to prohibit discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity in employment, housing, public accommodations, public education, federal funding, credit, and the jury system.
