that video of iyanna dior getting assaulted by that group of men really just made me cry. black trans women’s lives really aren’t valued and it’s fucking sad. PROTECT BLACK TRANS WOMEN.— chelsea (@jisooIipa) June 3, 2020
What happened to #IyannaDior is despicable. Cis men and women came out in droves to beat up one black, trans woman.
Who can she turn to during a time like this?

The beating of Iyanna Dior is heartbreaking for so many reasons. We’re literally in the street decrying the violence against Black bodies. These men could’ve been doing that, but they decided to side with the structures that seek to harm us by doing the work for them. #iyannadior pic.twitter.com/Uen8Ge0eiN— Faith Uncut (@faith_uncut) June 3, 2020
