In pics | Tom Daley scoops silver at the World Series in Kazan
Tom Daley won silver at the World Series diving championships in Kazan, Russia, over the weekend.
The 21-year-old Rio Olympic hopeful finished on 554.60, almost 18 points down on Chinese winner Chen Aisen (572.40), but ahead of Qiu Bo (554.00).
"There are still things I have to improve, but I'm very happy with the silver medal," Daley told the FINA/NVC Diving World Series website.
As ever, we decided to have a closer look at Tom taking that splash...
Tom also said, "It was fun to battle against Chinese divers to see who actually can come up on top. This is the last chance to compete against them before Rio.
"That's exciting and nice to know that going into Olympic Games I can be very close to the Chinese."
Well done Tom! Next stop, Rio.
