'Guardian' celebrates 'Attitude's birthday with iconic covers

ianmckellenattitudeAs Attitude celebrates its 20th birthday, The Guardian has run a special retrospective gallery featuring some of our most iconic covers. Attitude's Editor Matthew Todd has picked some of his favourite covers from over the years, which include Madonna, David Cameron, Sir Elton John, Kylie Minogue, Daniel Radcliffe, David Beckham and Sir Ian McKellen (pictured right). The retrospective also spotlights the first ever Attitude cover from 1994, which features Boy George, who is performing tonight (March 29) at our 20th birthday party at London's Grosvenor House Hotel. > Click here for the gallery of iconic Attitude covers This week has seen the release of Attitude's first ever bookazine, Love & Marriage. This special edition provides everything you need to know about planning the perfect wedding, from venues to catering, honeymoon destinations to fashion, to grooming advice for the big day. It also includes interviews with Great British Bake Off's John Whaite, Union J’s Jaymi Hensley and Coronation Street’s Charlie Condou, who each introduce their grooms-to-be. Meanwhile, our special 20th Birthday issue is available to download to your iPad or tablet now. The print edition, available to pick up in shops from Wednesday (April 2), features five different collectible covers: Kylie Minogue, Labour Party leader Ed Miliband, Looking star Jonathan Groff, EastEnders' Danny Dyer and Sam Strike, and a naked Harry Judd.
