Just when you thought it was time to let it go, Frozen-mania looks set to take off once more with the news that the Broadway musical based on Disney's hit 2013 animated feature is heading to London's West End.

The musical, which opened in New York last year and has been nominated for three Tony Awards, will arrive at the Drury Lane Theatre in Autumn 2020, producers have confirmed.

The stage version closely follows the plot of the original film, but features 12 new songs alongside all your favourites like 'Do You Want To Build A Snowman?', 'Love Is An Open Door' and 'Reindeer(s) Are Better Than People'. (Just us? Ok then).

The Broadway show has received middling reviews but strong ticket sales, and with Frozen 2 set to hit cinemas on November 22, Disney fans are likely to be knocking down the doors of the Drury Lane Theatre come autumn next year.

Jennifer Lee, who wrote the book for the stage adaptation, said: “We’re so humbled by the continued support for Frozen – at its heart, a joyous story about love and sisterhood. We’re very excited to share what we have created on stage with London and to see it come to life in that gorgeous theatre.”

Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, couple who wrote the music and lyrics, added: "The power of Frozen comes from the story of two strong, very real women saving their world by leaning in to their deep love for one another. Expanding this story has been an absolute joy.

"We went deeper and discovered several song moments that enrich the story in a new emotional and theatrical way."
