Elite star Omar Ayuso has made his relationship with his boyfriend Instagram official – and it’s just the uplifting slice of gay goodness we needed to end the week on.

Ayuso, who plays Omar Shalaa on the hit Spanish-language Netflix series, shared an adorable snap of himself embracing his partner, artist Alonso Díaz, on the platform on Thursday (28 May).

In a heartwarming caption (translated from Spanish), the 22-year-old actor wrote: “how to speak if I can’t find the right words.

“happy 22nd and a happy life, very close to me please.”

Ayuso’s public acknowledgement of his relationship with Díaz comes after an image of himself enjoying a naked FaceTime session with a man – now assumed to be his boyfriend – was removed by Instagram earlier this month.

Seemingly pointing to the difficulities involved with maintaining a relationship during lockdown, the screen star had written alongside a sad face (translated from Spanish): “Don’t distance yourself too much.”

The candid snap wasn’t the first revealing image Ayuso had shared to Instagram during lockdown, however: The Madrid-based star had previously set tongues wagging with a flesh-filled pic that showed exactly how much – or to be more specific, how little, he manscaped. Click here to see more.
