The stars of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK vs The World have named the shadiest queen of the series and it is… Blu Hydrangea! Can you believe it?! At least that’s one title that’s definitely going to a Drag Race UK queen…

Speaking to Attitude for Tea Time in association with TAIMI, the world’s largest LGBTQ+ social and dating app, Blu is named as the most-shady queen by most of the queens including Baga Chipz, Jimbo, Janey Jacké, Cheryl Hole, Mo Hearty, and Pangina Heals. Blu even votes for herself!

Prior to the release of the new show on the newly relaunched BBC Three, the queens sat down to spill the tea about what we can expect from the new series.

Asked who delivered the most shade while filming the queens are near-unanimous in their verdict: Blu Hydrangea, who describes herself as “a secret assassin of shade”. However, she is not the only shady queen it seems.

“We do have the queen of reads, Miss Jujubee,” points out Drag Race Holland‘s Janey Jacké, who also thinks she and Pangina Heals from Drag Race Thailand could also be counted.

“She’s so shady!” Pangina chimes in speaking of Blu. “I say that with the highest form of endearment and love, but she is so shady!” she continues. Agreeing, Jacké elaborates that Blu’s shade is unexpected in that you don’t expect it and then, “Whoop, there it is.”

Blu’s Drag Race UK season one sister and fellow Frock-Destroyer, Baga Chipz, says Blu’s wholesome “innocent little choir boy” act is just that, when in reality she’s “a dirty cow; a trollop.”

But Baga adds: “She does it, like, sweet, so you can’t even say anything back because it’s like kicking a puppy.”

Fellow Drag Race UK season one darling, Cheryl Hole, also votes for Blu “without a shadow of a doubt”, but admits that the Irish queen had some “tough competition” as Mo Heart was also sharp-tongued. Cheryl also nominates Janey, who’s “not one to mince her words”.

“Spicy little Blu”

However, Jujubee considers herself to have been the shadiest queen of them all, while Canada’s Drag Race‘s Lemon gives the title to Pangina.

Jimbo, also of Canada’s Drag Race season one fame, agrees, calling Pangina a “shady ass ho,” which Mo Heart also agrees with loudly. Jimbo recognises “spicy little Blu” and herself as well. Why not?!

“It’s really fun to be shady,” adds Jimbo, who also teases a “fight” between her and Mo. Mo describes Blu as “the shadiest little bitch in the world, especially when she’s in drag,” before confirming that Jimbo says something which appears to leave everyone in the werkroom truly gagged at one point, and Mo “about to hand her her ass”.

Finally, Mo settles her top three shady queens as “Blu Hydrangea, Jujubee is shady as boots too, and Jimbo, who’s slightly like Gia Gunn because she stirred the pot.”

We are hooked!
