Words: Will Stroude
After finally unleashing her album of ABBA covers, Dancing Queen, on the world last week, we didn't think it was possible for Cher to give the gays any more in 2018 than she already has done.
As it turns out, (and this doesn't happen a lot), we were wrong.
Fresh off her scene-stealing appearing in Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, the Goddess of Pop has revealed she's up for making a return to another of our screen faves: Will & Grace.
The 72-year-old 'Believe' singer told Entertainment Tonight that'd she'd be up for making a third appearance on the show following its hugely successful revival last year.
"Yeah, why not!" Cher said. "I did it two times and I had a blast. I would do it."
Cher previously made two unforgettable appearances playing herself on Will & Grace during the show's original run.
The first came during season three's 'Gypsies Tramps and Weed' - first broadcast in 2000 - where she runs into Jack (Sean Hayes) at a restaurant only to be mistaken for a Cher drag queen.
The second came in season four finale 'AI: Artificial Insemination', where she played the embodiment of God (who else?!) during one of Jack's dreams.
With Will & Grace set to return to screens in the US this Thursday (4 October) for a 10th season, it might be too late to get Cher into the upcoming episodes.
However, with the show already being renewed by NBC for an 11th series, there'll be no excuse not to get the Oscar-winning star back in front of the camera in time for next year.
Meanwhile, if you're yet to see Cher's incredible attempt to explain some of her most iconic tweets, we suggest you do so immediately here. It will improve your life, guaranteed.
