Charlie Carver stripped naked by Zachary Quinto for ‘Broadway Bares’ – WATCH

The 'Boys in the Band' stars helped raise over $1.8 million for AIDS charities in the process.

If there’s one thing that’s guaranteed to help raise some money for a good cause, it’s people taking their clothes off – and it’s something the stars of Broadway know only too well.

Tuesday night’s annual ‘Broadway Bares’ fundraiser in New York saw the cream of the theatreland crop put on a special strip-filled show to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, and the A-list stars of Boys in the Band were on hand to help raise a whopping $1,875,090 over the course of the night.

Cast members Matt Bomer, Charlie Carver, Robin de Jesús, Zachary Quinto, Andrew Rannells, Michael Benjamin Washington, and Tuc Watkins appeared as special guests and were challenged to answer trivia questions. The twist? For each incorrect answer, former Teen Wolf star Carver had to strip off an article of clothing.

Luckily for us, it seems the boys weren’t aren’t all that smart – and Zachary Quinto was left with the honours as his thong was unceremoniously ripped off…

And they wonder why gay men love theatre.
