Andrew Garfield has revealed that he, Tom Holland, and Tobey Maguire couldn’t help but compare bulges when they met up on the set of Spider-Man: No Way Home for the first time.

The three actors – who have all played the web-head in different iterations – join forces in the latest Spidey flick, which sees alternate reality versions of several major characters invade the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Speaking to Jimmy Kimmel about the film recently, Andrew recalled the trio’s first meeting on set.

All dressed in their respective Spidey suits, the three actors recreated an iconic meme of multiple Spider-Man pointing at one another.

“Me and Tobey landed on set, they put us in the costumes and they said: ‘We’re gonna do the meme really quickly!’ It was before we had shot anything,” Andrew explains.

“We were all kind of, like, thrown onto a set and kind of, like, told to point at each other, and I think we got one good shot and that’s that (pointing at the shot) because the rest of the time we were just laughing trying not to stare at each other’s crotches.

“It was just like, comparing bulges,” said the Oscar-nominated tick, tick… BOOM star.

Andrew said that they had all discussed re-enacting the meme within the film and revealed he had the “great Scott-doc-brown-eureka moment”.”
