freakshowAmerican Horror Story season four is to be titled Freak Show. The show's creator Ryan Murphy took to Twitter to share the news, posting: "AMERICAN HORROR STORY SEASON FOUR" with the promo image that appears to the right. US showbiz magazine Entertainment Weekly has since revealed further details about season four, reporting that it will be set in the town of Jupiter, Florida in 1950. Jessica Lange will star as a German ex-pat managing one of America's very last freak shows - and her gaggle of "freaks" will include American Horror Story favourites Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters and Frances Conroy. Meanwhile, Emma Roberts and Denis O'Hare are both in negotiations to return alongside them. The next season of American Horror Story will be the last to feature Lange, sadly, and will debut this autumn on US cable network FX. In the UK, the show airs on the FOX channel. The horror anthology series has previously taken place inside a haunted house, an asylum and a school for witches, and Lange has won an Emmy and a Golden Globe for her performances.
