ITV’s Alison Hammond and Strictly Come Dancing‘s Tess Daly are set to appear as guest judges on the next series of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, according to reports.

The Strictly host is said to have filmed her scenes last week and went down a hoot with her one-liners. Meanwhile, Alison, a legend over at ITV, has previously said she; ‘d “absolutely love” to appear on the show.

In an interview with Alan Carr last September, she asked him: “Can you put a word in, babes?”

“I’d love to do it”

A source has told The Sun, as reported by Yahoo: “Tess really showed off her edge during this stint and her witty one-liners and humour went down well.”

Alison is thought to be delighted at being given a shot to appear on the show, previously telling Alan Carr she loves the show adding, “Oh, I’d love to do it, I’d absolutely love to do it.”

Filming for the fourth series of Drag Race UK is understood to be underway.

Previous guest judges include Mel C, Jonathan Bailey, Andrew Garfield, and Cheryl.

It’s hard to believe that neither woman has been asked to appear on the show in its three series so far… But as Alsion told Attitude in our March/April issue – out now – she’s met several of the Spice Girls, including Geri, Mel C, and Emma, who have all guest judged on Drag Race.

Hopefully, they’ll be able to give her some advice. Not that we think she’ll need it!

A BBC spokesperson told Attitude in regard to the reports: “Our lips are sealed. Our extra special celebrity guests will be revealed in due course.”

Attitude has contacted representatives for Alison Hammond for comment.

Attitude’s new-look March/April issue is out now.
