Adam Lambert has dropped a studio recording of Cher's 'Believe' and it's everything a power ballad should be.

Anyone who covers a Cher song are putting themselves at great risk of criticism as the gay icon is flawless in every way.

But there is one person who we give full permission to cover any song and that is the American Idol runner-up and former Attitude cover star, Adam Lambert.

Last year, the 'Whatya Want From Me' singer performed his version of the classic 1998 disco track to none other than Cher herself and fans called for Lambert to officially release the single.

And now, it appears that Lambert has listened to fans requests and has dropped the brand new single and we love it.

Turning Cher's classic 'Believe' into a moving power ballad and it's everything a power ballad should be.
