Grace Jones and Quentin Crisp
December 1st
is World AIDS Day, and it is fast approaching. Now, this may be the most fun way we’ve ever found to support this
important occasion: The Little Artists’ Lego Portraits. Look at them! The world
needs more of this. Now, Little Artist have been making art using Lego since 1994, but we especially love this, as it benefits a charity we're very fond of. When you buy a print from the collection, 10% of every sale will be donated to the
Terence Higgins Trust, so they can continue the important work they do.
We’re only
showing you a selection here, but you can buy prints of a variety of LGBT
icons, that have all been rendered lovingly in…lego. As well as the ones we’re
showing you here, there’s also Gilbert & George, Pet Shop Boys, Morrissey,
Jim Parsons, Andy Warhol and Marilyn Monroe.
Each
limited-edition portrait costs £275, and is a museum-quality, framed, glossy c-type
print. For further details, to see the entire range, and arrange purchase and
delivery, visit www.littleartist.co.uk
