The Coronation
Street star has consistently spoken out both in the Guardian and London’s
Evening Standard about the reality of modern families. For trailing the way
(and answering back to Rupert) he is Attitude’s Man of the Year 2012.
Congratulations, sir.
Best known for
playing gay dad Marcus Dent on Coronation
Street, the 39-year-old thesp is a father himself who speaks, writes and
tweets about same-sex parenting at every opportunity - and we salute him for
it. He was present and correct at the Attitude Awards to collect his trophy, supported by our main sponsor, Virgin Holidays.
You
can read a full interview with Charlie Condou in our Awards Issue, in shops and
on ipad out now.
