In May of this
year, 56 Dean Street launched a campaign asking people to submit ideas for an
ad campaign that would make an impact to reduce rates of HIV, or increase
education about sexual health amongst gay and bisexual men.
Following a month-long voting period, the community decided the winner
of the HIV Testing category to be
Ryan Arya’s ‘Undiagnosed HIV can be a death sentence’ campaign, which can be seen at their Facebook page:

The winning video for What-Would-You-Tell-The-19-Year-Old-You? was
filmed by Daniel Kaye, a visual communications graduate, and features his
friend, Anthony Hyde, who explains what he would have told his 19-year-old
self. This is below. Hooray! Well done to both. They’re both very powerful, we
think.
The Community Campaign will
open the call for entries for Phase 2 in November. Details of the entry
requirements for will be coming shortly, so if you’d like to be involved in the
next Community Campaign make sure you ‘like’ the Facebook page to keep
