After its West End debut last year, BBC Children in Need is once again working
with the glitz of London theatreland to launch POP Goes the Musical 2012, challenging
a group of celebs perform a hit song from a top theatre show in the run up to
BBC Children in Need Appeal Night on Friday 16th November.
This year’s celebs include Geri Halliwell (Singin’ in the Rain), Alexandra
Burke (Les Misérables), boy band Blue (JERSEY BOYS), Macy Gray and Stooshe (Thriller
Live).
Bookings can be made for the following dates:
18th September 2012 – Les Misérables with Alexandra Burke
11th October 2012 – JERSEY BOYS with Blue
25th October 2012 – Singin’ in the Rain with Geri Halliwell
15th November 2012 – Thriller Live with Macy Gray and Stooshe
Tickets are available exclusively at www.lastminute.com/pudsey and cost £80.
Each ticket includes a top price seat, signed programme, a Pudsey bear,
complementary drink, plus access to a VIP after show reception hosted by Pudsey.
So you can hug that charity bear off the tele and feel like you’re doing your
bit for those less fortunate - 50% of the price of each ticket will go to the
children and young people supported by BBC Children in Need.
BBC Children in Need is currently supporting over 2,500 projects that are working
with children facing a range of disadvantages, for example poverty and
deprivation; children who have been the victims of abuse or neglect or disabled
young people.
