LGBTQ THEATRE IN MANCHESTER

VADA, in case you didn’t know, are an LGBTQ theatre company. As part of the Manchester Pride Fringe Festival, they will be presenting a collection of 30 original theatrical sketches in one big humdinger of a show, entitled ‘Two Minute Queers’.

The collection is being performed at Polari, Canal Street on 21st August 2012 and at the Castle Hotel, Oldham Street on 22nd and 23rd August, 2012. The show starts at 7.30pm, with tickets available on the door.

As a community theatre group, VADA is open to anyone who identifies as LGBTQ, and offers the opportunity to create original dramas. Acting, performers, writers, directors, artists and crew members are all welcome, regardless of experience.

Anyone interested in getting involved with VADA, in any way, can visit their website or join their Facebook group. VADA was established in 1996 and produces two shows a year. As a non-profit LGBTQ community theatre company LGBTQ VADA is unique in the UK.

They've also made a special promotional video, which you can watch here:
