Viva Forever, penned by Jennifer Saunders and inspired by the high priestesses of Girl Power, is a new musical that you can go and watch and scream at from November. It's going to have Spice Girls songs in it, and also some of their solo hits. It will almost certainly be better than that film they did. Anyway, yesterday was a big press launch for it, at the same hotel where they filmed the video for Wannabe, and Spice Girls devotees/journalists/both/delete as applicable, positively high-tailed it down there to watch Victoria Beckham look like she didn't want to be there, and Geri Halliwell grin mentally into the middle distance. Viva Forever opens at the Piccadilly Theatre in London on November 27.
