Florence + The Machine have premiered the music video for ‘Breath of Life’.
Snow White and the Huntsman - Out 30 May
The track, released three weeks ago, was recorded as the
lead song for the official soundtrack to the film Snow White and the Huntsman.
The video, mostly in black and white, shows Welch recording
the song whilst conducting an orchestra and putting the track together (she can
do it all, right?) in Abbey Road Studios, London.
This is combined with scenes from the movie – which looks
amazing, by the way and is out on 30 May.
In an interview about the video, Florence revealed:
"I love choirs and I love choral music, and there was a
60-piece choir singing the vocal parts that I had written. When the baritones
came in, I nearly wept, it was so emotional."
Florence + The Machine are currently in the midst of the Ceremonials world tour and will be
performing at Radio 1’s Hackney Weekend on Sunday 24 June.
