On May 27th, a whole bunch of London’s up and coming creative sorts, including artists, fashion designers, jewellery designers, filmmakers and musicians will take part in this new flea market thing. What does that mean, you ask? Well, Dean Street will be closed to traffic and ‘creative market stalls’ will exhibit and sell directly to the public.
Businesses in and around Dean Street will be supporting Soho Flea Market, including Pizza Express, The Groucho Club, The Soho House Group, Dean Street Studios, The French House, Cay Tre, Candy Bar, Toucan, Zenna Bar, Soho Theatre and Blacks, many of whom are hosting special events including art exhibitions, fashion shows and live music. Good on them.
Soho Flea Market is held in support of HIV and sexual health charity Terrence Higgins Trust, so there's no reason not to get yourself on down there. S'on all day really, from 12pm-8pm.
