A three-minute gay porn clip interrupted a local Canadian newscast
last week.
A morning newscast on Ontario-based TV channel CHCH last Friday cut to a three-minute clip of Lucas Entertainment’s After Hours, a gay porn film in which “ten international sluts cruise each other on the
streets of Berlin.”
CHCH news director, Mike Katrycz, said, “This was a
problem that originated not at CHCH but at a cable company. Apparently, some cable
lines had been cut and in the splicing back together, some inappropriate
content went to air. Again, it was beyond the control of CHCH, but we do
apologise to our viewers.”
Here's what viewers had to say on Twitter:
@S_Braithwaite1
“Nothin' like a little gay
porn first thing in the morning on CHCH #HamOnt #OMG”
“Someone hacked CHCH news to play gay porn... And every TV in the gym and starbucks was set to it...”
@AnthonyUrchTLR
“Thinking
about filing a lawsuit with #CHCH for making me question my sexuality.”
