Will Young is writing a book, apparently - his memoirs. We're glad he's doing this while riding on a high (that last album was very good), otherwise everyone would have been very cynical.
The press releases about this have been particularly press release-y, but here's a nice quote from Antonia Hodgson,
editor-in-chief of Little, Brown - who acquired the world rights from
Simon Fuller's XIX Entertainment: "I'm very excited about Will's
memoir. He is a terrific storyteller and his writing voice is
just as appealing as his beautiful singing voice: warm; emotionally
honest and intimate. He's also very, very funny. We can't wait to
publish in October."
That's a lot of pressure to put on Will Young. Never mind - we believe, Will, we believe! Now, for no other reason other than nostalgia, let's all look at this.
