Some of our older/more cultured/more musically switched-on readers (delete as you find applicable) will no doubt remember Mari Wilson. She developed a cult following in the 80s and early 90s, and is now back recording a new album. A covers album, it’ll feature Mari singing the likes of the Bee Gees, The Pretenders, to Dusty Springfield. It’s one of those new-fangled PledgeMusic deals. Mari explains:
