Treat yourself to a West End musical at Fringe Theatre prices before it transfers.
The London Fringe has been buzzing about this show for months and it’s got a lot going for it. Steph Fearon, who reached the semi-finals of the BBC1's 'Over The Rainbow', stars in the first major revival of this musical since its West?End run in 1996.
The format is very simple, the hit songs of prolific song writing team Leiber & Stoller, including On Broadway, Jailhouse Rock, Stand By Me and I'm A Woman are loosely strung together inviting you to admire their craftsmanship in a theatrical setting. Of course that requires amazing singers and director Mykal Rand (who I once directed in RENT!) has got a top notch cast together that are more then capable of blowing the roof off the tiny Landor Theatre. It’s possible that you’ll miss a story to get involved in but with singers as good as this belting out such Rolls Royce material I doubt it.
