Opened in 1937 , Graythwaite has maintained its period charm and friendly atmosphere.

With numerous local attractions and beautiful walks around the Lake District National Park, North Lancashire and West Yorkshire regions, there is plenty to do for everyone all within a short distance.
Drive inland a few miles and you are soon at Lake Windermere or Coniston Water and on the way to some of the most majestic scenery in the country.
