The good news is that apparently the Girls Aloud reunion that we've been hankering for since their break began may be on it's way...
The news we're not sure how we feel about is that it may be going ahead without Nadine. An ever-elusive source claims, "they want to return on their own terms - and avoiding any squabbles is a high priority. That's why they have decided to go on without Nadine."
On one hand, we don't like the persistent rumours that Nadine is a complete bitch to work with, because it shatters our illusion that the girls are bestest friends, which is 70% of what we look for in a girlband. On the other, Nadine's voice has been pretty integral to the group's sound, and however much we love Cheryl, we can't see her filling Nadine's boots vocally. Can you? Also, every girl group needs a bit of in-fighting, and without Nadine, we dread to think who the next scapegoat would be. Obviously Nicola can more than handle herself, and Kimberly is probably too lazy to get involved, so odds are on foghorn Harding baring the brunt, which is fine by us. What do you think?
We feel better for having got that off our chests.
